The "UkeTAR" Easy Play 8 or 12 string Big Box BARITONE UKULELE Guitar with a bass G...

$595.00

Big sound simplified rhythm guitar. Plays like a Ukulele but its really a Guitar. Fantastic for sing-a-long as it emphasizes the rhythm although its great to pick like a Mandolin. A guitar for people who want it easier... don’t have time to learn regular guitar...but plays like one and sounds just as big or even bigger. SOME PEOPLE EVEN SAY "IT'S THE WORLDS EASIEST TYPE OF GUITAR TO PLAY."

A regular 6 string guitar has six different notes EADGBE. A simplified UKEtar type guitar has four different notes DGBE. What makes it have a BIG sound is that you get a BIG SOUND BOX and each note is either doubled or tripled depending on which model you get, and you get a bass G for the REAL BIG SOUND. There has traditionally been a four string guitar called a tenor guitar so, in a way this new simplified BIG sound model is a 12 or 8 string tripled or doubled tenor Bass G guitar using the same tuning and chords for a regular guitar or baritone ukulele.

The bass sound of the A & E strings of a regular guitar is more than made up with the use of a #44 or #46 gauge string on the G note using the "UKEtar" concept. (In fact, the bass A and E strings are sometimes not to be played on a regular type guitar anyway...so the "UKEtar" is easy to play as all strings are played all the time.) Only a 12 string Guitar with heavy steel rods in the neck can be used as the pressure is very great at concert pitch tuning. If you can afford the higher priced BIG GUILD model, it sounds like a big pipe organ.

Lots of Music therapists, teachers, Group Leaders, Folk & praise Worship Leaders, & Youth Workers are using "UKEtars".

The baritone ukulele is one of the easiest instruments in the world to play and this is just as easy, because you only have four notes like a “Uke.” When I was in grad school (seminary) I had to learn fast how to play an instrument for camps and youth work because I just didn’t have the time. And, as they say, “Necessity is the mother of invention,” and so...out popped this concept.
